Compliance with NHRC recommendations

In October, 2016, the Commission closed 53 cases on receipt of compliance reports from different public authorities, furnishing proof of payments it had recommended, totalling Rs. 1 crore 19 lakh to the victims of human rights violations or their next of kin. Details are in the table below:
