Contribution to PM's Relief Fund for Tsunami victims

A total of Rs, 2,28,682/- has been contributed by the Chairperson, Members, officers and staff of the Commission towards the Prime Ministers' National Relief Fund towards relief work for the victims of the Tsunami Disaster.
Following the Tsunami disaster of 26 December 2004, the Chairperson, Dr. Justice A.S. Anand had appealed to all officers and staff of the Commission to contribute at least a day's salary to the Prime Ministers' National Relief Fund. Justice Anand himself contributed one month's pay to express solidarity with those affected by the calamity.
