Mr. Jaideep Singh Kochher joins NHRC as Joint Secretary (Training)<br>

Mr. Jaideep Singh Kochher joined as the Joint Secretary (Training) in the Commission on the
15th November, 2010 on deputation. He is a 1986 batch officer of the Indian Economic
Service. Prior to his appointment to NHRC, Mr. Kochher was holding the post of Additional
Economic Adviser, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. He has earlier
worked as Director in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as well as Ministry of Women and Child Development, where he was handling issues relating to child protection, Juvenile Justice
Act etc.
