NHRC's essay writing competition for writers from SC, ST & Other Backward communities




The National Human Rights Commission is organizing an essay writing competition in Hindi for the writers from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities on the subject "Freedom of Expression, Women Empowerment and Human Rights". This is aimed at encouraging creative writing in Hindi on human rights related subjects. The essay should have minimum 7500 words. The winners of first, second and third prize would be given Rupees 12 thousand, 8 thousand and 6 thousand respectively along with certificates and mementos at a special function. The last date for entries is the 30th June, 2014. These should contain 4 copies of the essay along with the authenticated copy of the caste certificate. The entries should reach by post to the Assistant Director (Official Language), National Human Rights Commission, Manav Adhikar Bhawan, 'C' Block, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi-110 023.
