Rajesh Kishore assumes the charge of the Secretary General, NHRC

Shri Rajesh Kishore assumed the charge of the Secretary General, National Human Rights Commission in New Delhi on the 8th July, 2014. He is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Gujarat Cadre. Prior to his appointment to the NHRC, he was holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Government of Gujarat. He has served in various capacities in different departments of the Union and the State Governments.
