Training on Human Rights for Professional College students

Shri A.K. Parashar, Joint Registrar (Law) and Focal Point for Human Rights Defenders, NHRC inaugurated a training programme on human rights for professional college students organized by the People's Watch with support from the Commission at Lady Doak College, Madurai, Tamil Nadu on 6th February, 2013.

Shri Parashar said that the subject of human rights is very vast and the Commission is committed to prote-ction and promotion of human rights. It is building awareness about these rights through various training programmes in collaboration with educational institutions and civil society.
