Visit of officer trainees of NICFS

A group of 34 officers from 17 States consisting of Superintendent of District Jails, Public Prosecutors, Deputy Superintendents of Police and Civil Judges visited the Commission as part of their training programme in human rights organized by the National Institute of Criminology & Forensic Sciences (NICFS), MHA, New Delhi.

In an interactive session, the Registrar (Law) of the Commission made a presentation regarding development of human rights law in India and also regarding the constitution and functions of the NHRC.
